It would be cool to have controls for the pilot when you bail out, like opening the parachute so if you're at 2,000 ft, you don't have to wait until he hits the ground because of automatic chute opening and maybe control his running so you can jump out of one plane and jump into another.  You could give him a machine gun too to shoot down other aircraft.

I have nothing to request, all is perfect as its always been with the UP game. But whatever you guys and gals
decide to introduce into the game in the future, I will accept it as a great gift and with much pleasure.
You have all been doing a fine job, I really can´t complain, it´s ALL just too good.
Its a dream come true.
I have just returned to the game recently and I have been testing and flying the latest install of UP3+DBW and its
just superb. You guys did an amazing good job! Many congrats to all!
One little thing the game might need now are some new skins for those new Mod-aircraft, so I will be painting some new
skins and things for everyone to enjoy their IL-2 flights even more. Its the only way I can think of to repay all my good friends
here for giving me many hours of enjoying flying. Thank you all!

getting a bit hard to have ever aircraft there is,including prototypes
Memory limit has been reached in the IL-2 Game engine and difficulty's have arose from too many aircraft in game
which is why,a lot of planes have been consolidated

Otherwise the game just crashes/freezes etc.

With UP3 or DBW now
you can only add so many planes until you run into difficulty with the game not being able to handle it

I have another idea.  It would be nice to have a graphic upgrade option.  Like in the jsmge, you have UPxxx and then have improved graphics as an option (so people don't have to have the good graphics if the computer is slow).  I like the look of the HSFX graphics, so it would be cool if you could use those graphics.  Thanks for all your hard work!  It's still the best modpact out there!

Yes I been thinking about this long time ago, And i am more then sure will be possible to create Update texture pack and add to jsmge or create installation over UP as additional pack.

I think a Palestine map to include Syria, Lebanon, and Trans-Jordan along with a French Dewoitine D.520 airplane to join Vichy M.S. 406s against British Hurricanes and Tomahawks would make a nice addition.  Both sides were well supplied with aircraft in this early war battle ground where Germans, Italians, and Russians occasionally stuck their nose into.

Situation:

In FMB someone builds a MDS mission, a Dogfight mission with the following specifications:
1. Airbase "X" has a total number of 20 Spitfires MkI available for players. Mission starts at 12:00
2. The mission builder sets one A.I. flight: one patrol of Spit MkI, takeoff at 12:10 (so we have 4 Spits in air, following their waypoints)
3. If, during their flight, one or all Spits MkI are shotdown, that will make Airbase "X" to have only 16 Spits MkI available (20 minus 4).
4. If another A.I. flight of "n" Spits is set-up, if they are shotdown, that will decrease the total number of available- flyable airplanes of type Spit MkI

(I think that will motivate players who join this kind of missions, to do their best to defend also their A.I. airplanes. Less airplanes available, less chances to complete mission objectives.)

Is this possible to have in a future UP patch?

I wish we have a mission planner like SEOW does, but much more friendly. Something to read event.log and something to allow airplanes, objectives, moving tank units, setting their waypoints, etc.

Yes, you are wright about AC counter, I know that AC counter decreases the number of available planes in an airbase when: 1. a human player looses an aircraft (beying shutdown or crashed, etc.) and 2. when a number of stationary aircraft is destroyed on ground.
I know that AC counter, doesn't count also the A.I. flights who takeoff from that airbase, even if that flight is composed from the available aicraft types.

Example:
Airbase Red1 has a total of 10 "IL-2 Type X" aircraft available for human players to be used in mission.
In that mission, there is planned an AI flight: 4 IL-2 Type X, are taking off, from Airbase Red1, after 10 minutes from the mission start.
Let's supose that from this flight, a number of 2 IL-2 Type X are shotdown and only the remaining 2 are landing safe at their homebase Red1. After their landing, the Airbase Red1 has only a number of 8 IL-2 Type X, aircraft available for human players.

On short: I would like to see an AC counter who "counts" also the AI aircrafts taking-off and landing on that airbase.

Example of a possible mission:
In briefing we read the following: "a group of 16 AI Ju-52 are supplying your airbase. You must join them and escort them to your airbase". If all 16 AI ju-52 are landed safely, that means you will have (after a short period of time) 16 Ju-52 available to human pilots. "Something" changes thier status from AI aircrafts to available and flyable aircrafts for players.

Sun, I understand what you are saying here. The work around is to put very limited AC, maybe some not so desireable ones, available to humans. Then put several flights of AI inbound and it is up to humans to make sure that they get to base safely and despawn. If you are running resource management properly and you have the HB plane-set set up properly, those AI AC that just landed are now available to humans to fly. I have several missions set up this way. It is actually quite a fun mission scenerio. If you don't protect the AI you will be stuck flying the not-so-desireable aircraft for the remainder of the mission or until the next flight of AI are inbound.

I would love to see:
- UP3 to be compatible with Lowengrin's Dynamic Campaign Generator (or vice-versa).
- R/R/R work to rearm/refuel your entire flight/squadron's planes, if they are landed at home base and stationary. This may need some extra magic for the player to be able to force his squadron into the air again.

The reason is, I currently use Lowengin's DCG to generate dynamic missions for Midway (with DBW, not UP3, as it seems DCG can't read UP3 mission results files). In the Midway missions, I take off from Midway, fly on the mission and complete it. After the mission, my flight returns to base, damaged and low on fuel & ammo.  Then the Japanese zeros come and shoot up my entire flight of planes, which by this time has landed and are "sitting ducks". This spoils a mission that was successful up until then. If you are not the flight leader, there is no way of telling your flight to stay in the air, so they just land and wait for destruction.

It would be very cool to be able to refuel the "flight" of 4 planes, and as flight leader, make them take off again to defend Midway. That's what you'd expect would happen in the real world... but I guess its asking a lot

- Another (possibly far-fetched) wish: The ability to jump into a "stationary" plane at your home base. Either by clicking on the desired plane, or by selecting an option from your Ground communication menu "Switch plane", it could show a sub-menu of available, non-destroyed, static but potentially player-flyable planes.  An added bonus would be to use the "ground ejection" animation, showing your guy running from your plane to the target plane (in a straight line, don't worry about path/collision calculation).

This would add to the immersion greatly. Midway dynamic campaigns often have a few static Buffalos or F4Fs sitting around, it'd be great to be able to jump into one of these at the end of mission if the nasty zeros came to visit. This would make sense in the real world... you wouldn't sit there in a spent plane watching your buddies get shot to pieces if there was an available, prepped plane.

 Well my problem is with Do 217 dual Fritz x bombs system. Can you make the plane to release the bombs one by one? The plane releases both bombs at the same time.It's useless to carry 2 bombs if you can't control both at the same time.I'm sure it's just a minor bug and i hope it will be fixed.Ow and btw YOU GUYS ROCK!

I have other requests in the forums, the two main ones:
HE-111 landing gear fix.  Make it bigger, it's way to small and parallel to the ground, very unrealistic.
Propellers.  Make them 3D.  It would look so much better.  I have seen 3D props on Rise of Flight and man it really looks good!
