With RC4 we are getting frequent crashes of this type:

Memory: total(128778240) free(8612624)
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
        <<no stack trace available>>

Server console remains open

Setup is modtype=0, RAM=1024 (or 768), LAA=1, restart=0

Why don't you put restart=1 to automatically restart...
Looks like we have to investigate and change some things....

BTW, how many players were online?

It wont automatically restart if it doesnt close itself. We've never seen the DS do a clean exit, so there is no point (for now)

Generally 20 players on board when it goes down, but we've had close to 40.

As a contingency measure we are rewriting missions to dump chiefs, AI, radar, RRR, anything to lighten the load

Hi mates,

have to *bump* this thread again.
Several users brought to my attention that the latest DF server exe patch causes trojan alerts in AntiVir.
Please let me stress that this is a false positive first.

~S~ Storebror,
Just wanted to let you know that I'm having troubles with il2server.exe and ~~whats.up. I'm running AVG and the second I installed UP3.0 RC4 I got a hit on ~~whats.up. This was with with AVG 2011. I just updated to AVG 2012 and with every scan it moves il2server.exe to virus vault. I've added both these files to the exceptions list but it still removes il2server.exe with each scan.

Is there a process to get AVG and other programs to make exceptions in their program? Do I need to do I restore of these files each time my system scans?

Thanks for all your work Sir

~S~! All,
Earlier today, after posting above, I uploaded the file il2server.exe to the AVG lab for evaluation. Within an hour I got a reply and the problem is solved... After an AVG update it no longer hits on the file.  :party0006:
