I'm asking because I'm making new textures for it, and I need to know who made the tracers mod for credits. ;)

santobr.
Patterns for the smoke trail did Kirill, and can be reached at SAS or Aviaskins. Fire tracer collected from many different and not all the authors I know. ShVAK also work Kirill. My job was modest only in the fact that I have collected on your taste and I think the most realistic effects, forcing them to work properly together.

If anyone else interested to see what a picture I'll fly, you can see the screenshots. They only weigh about 100 megabytes.  http://files.mail.ru/1QIDR6
I look forward to full support of the effects of Plutonium that would continue to adapt and ground effects.

Rectangular tracer sees camera or camcorder, but not the human eye. In addition to the screenshots (before reading you) are shown as the tracer takes their camera with arms shaking and vibration of the plane when shooting. We need to see the picture close to reality.
Best regards, Ruslan.

About the shape of the tracers... :)
Well, I never see a tracer with my eyes, so I only could make what I see in guncams.
I don't know what is the shape of a tracer seeing with our eyes. :pardon:
Maybe you can draw it and I will try to make as your drawing.

About shaking effect...
The shaking is already in your mod, I just made the new textures based on textures that already are in your mod. :pardon:
I was thinking in to eliminate the shaking effect, but, in this case, it's more easy to use  the Eexhaton's mod.
In the Eexhaton's tracers mod we need only one texture for each tracer, in your mod we need three textures because of the shaking animation effect.
What do you think? It's better to eliminate the shaking effect? :)

I also have the effect of shaking, but it is not strongly expressed, as you have screenshots. My version is more like the way the eye sees, and not the camera. This is my personal opinion, but I saw tracers in life. Your offer more than you need to create a simulated newsreel clips.

I can not quite understand from the automatic translator. You wrote about the three structures tracer. In modes are implemented for different textures tracers of bullets in a combat pack. This is clearly seen to ShVAK and many other guns. Pardon my English - I did not know.

@RusPs
Your tracer is made with three textures:
1. front ball
2. body
3. body shaking animation effect.

The original tracers and other tracers mods are made with only one texture:
1. front ball
2. body (the same texture from front ball, but stretched in the 3D)

So, your mod is the only one that has three textures for each tracer that I saw until now.
And I like it, because we can make very cool tracers. ;D

@Emil
Thank you, Emil, but all pictures and videos are Power Ranger tracers because of exposition of the camera lens. :)
The colors could be a bit different because the camera and the light around the scene, but it's exactly what my textures are simulating.
It look's big because I use the del key inside the IL-2 and I cropped the original image, the image was 1920x1080.
I did not resize it, I just cropped it with Gimp.
In the center of the first screenshot you can see more far tracers. :thumb:

I'm not sure what you mean by power ranger tracers?
The videos are dead accurate with the exception of the color variance that we are going to have using different monitors in different conditions. I mean, that's just what they look like! There's nothing really more to it.

Two, you talk about the "ball" at the end of the tracer, can this be removed? Is it as simple as removing a texture or is it more complex?
Thanks much, good work guys.

kevlon - the answer to your question - if you do everything as written here or in this thread http://ultrapack.il2war.com/index.php/topic,4484.0.html , your game will not break.

Reply C.W.M.V. - When my interpreter translated correctly, I will say that I will not change anything and developers do not advise you to change the effects of fire. It's their job, but these effects are popular with people and work well.

@C.W.M.V.
That's because what we see in a video is not exactly what we see with our eyes.
The ball texture is important because it's the only thing we can see if we are perfectly behind the tracer.
Thats why it's there.

You're right - we need to see the game footage of not, we need to see how a person. Sorry for the confusion - I do not know English. Translator does not convey the idea.
