Crash after few seconds of running.
« on: March 11, 2012, 01:55:44 PM »
Hi there. I launch the game normally, the loading passes etc etc but when it's done and i'm at the menu everything is fine, but after a few 5-10 seconds the game just crashes, without any note, text, nothing. What might be the problem?

I have the same problem, I would love if someone could help me.

More info:

I have windows XP, I just downloaded UP 3.0 RC4, I have the UP 3.0 RC4 Splash screen on loading, but a few seconds after it gets to the "home" menu of IL-2, it just crashes to the desktop.  If I very rapidly click QMB, then just press fly, it loads completely, but then crashes right when the in-game flight should begin.

I can post my Logfile if it would help.

Thanks for any help!

Cheers

Make sure you have the IL-2 selector on UltraPack 3.  Otherwise it crashes.

Thanks a billion, Bf_109guy!  I didn't know I could change the game type with the selector, I thought it was just the JSGME.  I can't believe I overlooked such a simple fix.

Thanks again, it works flawlessly!
