For some reason some guys with UP3RC4 have no bugs some others have terrible bugs.
Could be different hardware or different mods or a combination of both.

I am able to play with the soundmod without any issues and I don't have even a good soundcard.  And I have quite a few other mods in there. :neo:

It should be hard to fix if only soem can replicate the bugs :-\

And tht's sad really

Well, some times things download incorrectly and different than others, like the 3do/Russian paratroopers thing, not everyone has that problem.  It's also possible that the other mods you have could fix the missing or glitchy parts in the Tiger sound mod.  Hardware does usually play a role though, that's probably your answer right there.  It doesn't matter if you have the best hw, sometimes better hw messes things up because the game was orringnally made for XP and lower.

You should never run any extra Mods at all,when testing anything
otherwise it can cause False bugs reports

and the main reason why #UP# folder was discontinued
do to false bug reports...
do to people running Mods while supposedly testing


Now I have a question.  I do online play sometimes and I would to to keep it that way, but you have to have the same version as the server.  Will this mod conflict?  And just to be sure it works with UP 3 right if you install all the stuff from the sas forum?

You should have a fresh,Unmodded separate game for a testing platform
with a whole other game,for the one you want to play with online

Trying to test,use Mods,fly online
with one install is not the way to test anything IMHO

I always,install a fresh new game to test anything
to be sure,I have an unadulterated game to test with

Perfect!  It sounds great and it works online on UP3 servers.  Maybe the reason why is because it's so great!

EDIT:  the only problem now is the memory bug talked about and no flyby sounds.  Still good though.

I see that tigers sound mod is still giving UP3 head aches:) 

I know a few of you guys are bummed out that it's buggy, but I have to be honest.  Even though it's not working in UP3 right now it gave us a great look or sound to what it's potential is and that was worth it to me, so I'm not so upset that it "may" have been released a little to early, and as you know we are always asking: when?  when?  when? :)  I just use it in HSFX and DBW for now.  I can live with that until we get this figured out for UP3.

I just discovered another little tidbit that might help. 

In HSFX the flyby sound does not work when I select my "landscape detail" to anything other than "Perfect"

Well I Fix game crash on 100% when loading mission but there is more and more conflicts, main reason why I don't work on this anymore is conflict with other mods, so it is absolutely useless to use for me. And sad is Tiger will not fix this ...
But I think NIK working on new sound mod so I hope we will get good one very soon :)

 Tiger says: Do not remove original SFS sound, so Uv3 do not work correctly!
 For this reason, it makes no sense to create a complete new mod! I will adapt their modes of assembly for Uv3 in the way that we have now. Completely new mod will do when all SPS files are in the final version.
 Hopefully by the time all the bugs will be fixed in a fashion Tiger33.  :friends:

How did you fix 100% crash on loading Manysh?
When I copy flyby sounds from up2 in preset folder of uv3  I can hear flybys in quick missions.
In single missions I still have crash on 100% loading.

Connecting my last build Sound_UP3.0_ = NIK = _v0.2 and Tiger33 - UV3 gives great sound! A little effort will be all well!  :good:
