Hi,
here are some other bugs we found:

- Ju88A4 Torpedo got no dive brakes and of course they are not visible....but they are still working

- BF109Z version is not flyable since ultr@pack version 1.5

- BF 109er cockpits seems to be transparent...
..this has to affect especially to BF109 E1 / E4 / E4B / E7B and E7Z (Emil) versions...all other BF109er versions did not have this problem

- the BF109er mirror trancparency has to affect to all BF109er versions:

- all FW190s Anton and Dora versions got the same problem at the locations shown on the screens:

- the same transparency bug got the He111 and the FW189-A2 pit:

A fast way to fix the transparency problem is to change the IL2 ingame video option -objects lightning- from excellent back to medium.
But i think most of the players are using the excellent display options.

~Regards~

Hi!

Strange, i have not the trasparency problem in my game and i use Excellent settings and Perfect ground-details. Does anybody else have the same transparency problems???

P.S.
The only transparency issue is the mirror and i'll have a look at it.

Hi,
thanks for the fast reply and for checking the issues.
I dont know why you dont have the same issue, but we tested this with 4 members of our squad, that means 4 different pc configurations , from win2000 to winxp, from the older to the newest pc systems (all used the same excellent and highest video options) and all of them got the same transparency issue. Please notice that the problem just appear to the Emil versions of the BF109 assigned above. The issue in the FW190s pits its not easy to find and its not appear in same amount like in the pits of the Emils. This just appear at exact the postions of the FW pits are shown at the screens. To test the FW front side bar you can try this:
-quick mission builder settings with the slovakia map, sun at half past 5 pm flying at 3000m/9800ft
-put the sun in the right front window and yaw your plane slow to the right till the sun comes into the right edge of the right front bar.

~Regards~

You are right, but this problem is known by Freddy, the one who repainted the BF109 cockpits. It is a problem from Freddy's original version, He chose to have a more immerse but buggy version of BF109 pits. I'm trying to fix this and i have almost solved it by mixing default settings with Freddy's.
Wish me luck, :)

Good luck! S!   :)

I solved the problem for the BF-109E series, :)  ;D ;D ;D
I'll make a beta-download for testing later tonight. Now i'm trying to solve the He-111 and the rest or the aircrafts. It looks its dificult to solve the minor problem in the FW-190 series but the tranparent bug is minimal in any case. And something more: I've corrected the FW-190 G8, now the left cannon works fine, and i've also corrected =BY=Rudy's mistake in ammunition count, he put just 200 rounds for each cannon and i increased to the historical-correct 250 rounds per cannon. Plus i've added the 1600 PSC and 1800 SC bombs to bomb-load (historical-correct) :)
The FW-190G8 model was produced from September 1943 to February 1944. It is a very importand Jabo fighter (the best Jabo in game IMHO) and it will increase Jabo options for the Blue pilots.
The flight model is the one of the F8 series.

Hello, :)

This is a small mini-patch for evaluation. It resolves the transparent cockpit in BF-109E series (except mirror). It also fixes the problem with Tempest's cockpit in CRT=2 Mod and finally it adds the fixed-updated FW-190G8. Original model by =BY=Rudy.
I restored the non-functional left cannon in Default weapons load, i restored the historical 250 rounds for each cannon (instead of =BY=Rudy's 200 rounds per cannon) and i gave full bomb-load options. Here is a small taste of this little "beast",  ;D

Use winrar to extract this patch. Double-click on the file, follow instructions and overwrite files when asked.

EDIT 1:

I will make a new flight model for the G8 due to the fact that the weights when full bomb-load are not the same with FW-190F8. This is a beta download for evaluation purposes. It doesn't harm your IL2 ultrapack if you install this. I'm also planning to do all the Jabo-Rei series along with the F series.

* F-series and G-series:

    * FW-190F-1: Similar to FW-190A-4, but optimized for the battlefield close support ("Schlacht") role, with outer wing cannon deleted and additional armor added under the engine and cockpit.

    * FW-190F-2: Similar to FW-190F-1, but based on FW-190A-5. Featured bulged canopy.

    * FW-190F-3: Similar to FW-190F-2, but based on FW-190A-6.

*FW-190F-8: Similar to FW-190F-2, but based on FW-190A-8. (already in game)

    * FW-190G-1: Long-range Schlacht variant, similar to FW-190F-1 but with cowling guns deleted, and other minor changes.

    * FW-190G-2: Similar to FW-190G-1, but based on FW-190A-5.

    * FW-190G-3: Similar to FW-190G-2, but with fuel injection system and other minor changes.

    * FW-190G-8: Similar to FW-190G-1, but based on FW-190A-8.  (Being worked on)

I would be very thankful if you could give me relative info, e.g. weights, armament, year and month of service, etc....

S!

EDIT 2:

It looks like the 20mm inner cannons in G1 models were reduced to just 150 rounds each. I don't know about G8 versions. Maybe in the final version i will reduce the 20mm cannon rounds from 250 to 200 unless i find some info precisely for the G8.

Just to make sure everything is historical, I translated a short article about the FW190 G series from this webpage(http://www.focke-wulf190.com/die_fw_190_g_2.htm). Thanks for the hint ~NB~Eagle:

The G-8 is the most important series of the G-series. About 800 planes were produced.  The G-3 and the F-8 served  as a starting-model for the 1944 beginning series. The G-8 was fitted with the 115L tank for MW-50 or GM-1 fuel, in the fuselage, which also was used in the A-series. The dropping-rig(Abwurfanlage) of the G-8 consisted of a ETC 501 under the fuselage and 2 ETC 503 under the wings. As the radios remained FuG 16ZY and FuG 25a.
Some G-8 retained the 2 MG 131 in the fuselage, and received 2 further MG 151/20 in the wing roots.
146 copies of the G-8 have been converted to G-8/R5, with one ETC 501 and 4 ETC 71.

P.S.: Thanks for all your effort!!!!

Thank you for your help. I've made a  new Flight Model, its the same with F8 but with different weights.
Empty weight (reduced armament to 2 cannons) is 4.200 kg and max take-off is 5000 kg.
I'm planning the followin weapons-loads: Default is with 4 cannons in wing-root and 2 MGs at the engine-cowl. When all the cannons+mgs used the bomb-load will not exceed 1000kg. For 1600-1800 kg bomb-load the fighter will have only the 2 wing-root cannons and everything else removed. It is possible to use up to 1000 kg bombs with additional 300LT fuel-tanks in the wings. With bomb load > 1000kg there will be no fuel-tanks in the wings...
Is that OK? I mean the historical max weight for bombs/external weapons was up to 1800 kg.
Any recomendations are welcomed.

Yes, thats right...with up to 1000kg bombs and additional 300L wingtanks (or up to 1000kg center bomb + 2x 250kg under the wings) they are flying with 20mm MG 151/20 wingcannons + 2x MG131 machineguns at engine-cowl ... it was possible to use the maximum external weight up to 1800kg on center line without any more weights on the wings. And if the bombload was >1000kg on centerline only the 20mm MG 151/20 wingcannons are in use.

I just downloaded 1.5 today and got it running.  I am having a problem when I play online.

I connect online OK, select a plane to fly then click on fly.  It then spawns me in on an enemy carrier which swiftly destroys my plane by ship gunners.

I know this was an old bug with some of the mods at AAA, but it was fixed there  a while ago.

BTW I like the new look, good work.

I don't know is it for only me, or maybe for someone else, but many maps won't open  :-[. Also I don't know how to put a picture in here, but i-15s engine becomes transparent when looking from front at some angles (outside view).

Hi, was trying out you mod-pack online, and found a bug I think.
P-36 appears to smoke to people with UI1.1.

Server: CZ-AH (4.08mod)

External observer's mod: AAA UI1.1
My mod: Ultramod 1.5

P36-A3 and P36-A4 appear to smoke to an external observer with AAA's UI1.1.

No apparent damage to the engine or wrong mix.
I could not see the smoketrail myself.

Can duplicate bug with tracks:
Recorded track from 4.08m ultra:
Playback in 4.08m ultra - Smoke not present.
Playback in 4.08m UI1.1 - Smoke present

Smoke not present in track recorded with 4.08m UI1.1

Tested without problems:
Hurricane 38
BF109E1
P40B
Lagg3
MS406

Edit: Only "Full MOD" activated.

Kind Regards
