One thing , this blue flames and all air classes are related to sound mod ? I asking because I slowly developing landing gear damage for my mod pack And Im using animated flames sequences different for each engine, so If is related with sound mod that mean I will need change every single class ! and that will ruin my holiday !!   :D


Sound mod is amazing !! Tell Tiger BF 109 is superb !

Feel free release them you did great job, I only hope sound mod is separate from Air classes,and i am sure it is ;)

There is no hydraulic flaps in Bf-109. Flaps working manual turning outboard control wheel(and it control chain which control flap moving
screw) on right side of pilot.
 And we had interview with an messerschmitt pilot who told us, that when you shoot with machineguns you can hear little scratch voice.
And when you shoot with cannon, you can feel little shake. You must remember that there are twelve direct exhaust pipes which make terrible noise.

Well, since the mod is called "Tiger's UV3 sound mod" and not "Tiger's ultra-realistic and historically absolutely accurate sound mod", I'd say that small error should be OK with most of us. I'm just excited to be getting soon what he's done so far. Maybe Tiger can fix it later in an update with sounds of someone grunting and cursing while cranking the manual wheel?

(I wonder what getting blisters on your hand sounds like?)  :music:

Yep you are totally right Winston, there are limitations in UV3, of course, for ex FW190s have the hydraulic flap sound when in reality they had electric flaps, and for ex there is only one gear touch sound for all surfaces (grass, concrete etc...) but that sound will now repeat itself each time wheels touch the ground etc ...

Tiger and I even pondered about the level of flap sound in a real AC, and if the pilot could hear anything at all regarding flap (and even gear) sound, we wondered where were the flaps hydraulic pumps located (near the flaps or somewhere else ...??) etc ...

After watching the second video a few guys wondered if flap sounds are not too loud, well it will be easy to turn flap sound down by modifying the flap sample sound, or even more simple by editing the appropriate preset file ..

So we'll see, but as a beta tester I can confirm that Tiger is very open to positive criticism/comment, so he might as well modify/improve UV3 after release (although I know for sure that what  he now needs first is a (well deserved) break...)

So after release priority will first be given to AGS (After Gift Service ...  :lol:)

UV3 has just been released by Tiger ...

Please bear in mind that because there is currently a conflict with UP3.0 bigshipgeneric class and Tiger's modified one, it won't be possible to have ship engine sound attenuation with UP3.0.

Could somebody in the know please contact Tiger to help him fix this ...?

Installed first over HSFX 6.0 and it sounds amaizing - Best sound mod ever.
My goodness, the Guns...the Superchrger on P-51...the flaps :drinks:
Also very nice effect added to engine flames ;)

Where is Tiger ? I need remove all blue flames before I will  install this mod, All this classes from SFS can be remove or are related to sound mod ?

There is any chance this mod will be pack up in to SFS without Blue flames ?

...no need to modify any class, you can deactivate the blue flames effect in the conf.ini, please read the read me ...

yes this is related to tanks class, used to diminish their sound when you are on the ground and in cockpit view, with canopy closed.

But Tiger says he never got this message unless you don't use the right jsgme package with the right version of the game ...

I take this as joke :)

Ok after while testing on clean UP3 sound is amazing but have at least 5 CTD and memory issues and bunch of Java errors . But I am disappointed he mix this Flames with sound mod and pack up in to SFS so I can't use this at all with my modded game. ehh maybe next time ...

The blue flames effect was made more than 2 years ago, while working on an "evo" version of his UV2 sound mod, then also made for Claymore's FW/Ta pack ...

Since Tiger made his best for his UV3 to be compatible with UP30 may be you should as a "UP_DevTeam" member contact him at SAS, in order to fix those "bugs" and thus take profit of this sound mod ...

That is fine but i don't understand why it have to be merge and pack up in to SFS with sound mod ?? Optional fine, all in one ,No, people have custom modded game this will crash my game after 1 sec

Understand I am glad he tried... to fix all this bugs is not so simple to many things is going on in this mod ..
